The Gypsy King was one of 2 Gypsy Vanner Stallions, 1st imported to the United States in 1998. He was also widely known as, Bill Gypsy Vanner, before importation.   As the first Stallion on U.S. Soil, he became Sire to the 1st Gypsy Vanner born on U.S. soil, to a filly named Kuchi, born in March of 1999.  

In 2001 Breyer invited the Gypsy King to be a part of the Breyerfest and was immortalized as ambassador of the Gypsy Vanner breed.  The Limited Edition toy model of the GV "King" became one of the top ten best selling models in that year, including being featured on the well known shopping network QVC.  

The Gypsy King appeared at many shows & has graced the cover of many books, calendars & ads.  The Gypsy King's show and dressage career was nationwide and was enjoyed by many before his passing in 2015 at Gypsy Gold horse farm in Ocala Florida. 

The Gypsy King sired close to one hundred foals.  He was one of the Greats!
